Get involved … Patient Participation Group (PPG) 
We have an established PPG to help us consult with patients on the facilities and provision of services. Should you wish to be a part of this panel, please come into our surgery and request details from our receptionist or please Click Here to sign up online to participate in our PPG. We meet on a Tuesday evening in the surgery meeting room, all meetings start at 6pm. Our meeting dates for 2022 are:

To consider and provide feedback on new ideas and suggestions. 
To contribute to practice decision-making and to consult on service development and provision. 
To provide feedback on patients’ needs, concerns and interests; and to challenge the practice constructively whenever necessary. 
To help the practice organize or link into voluntary groups and support groups within the community. 
To encourage patients to take greater responsibility for their own and their family’s health by supporting and promoting healthy lifestyles. 
To provide regular feedback to all patients on the activities of the PPG and its work with the practice. 
To provide meaningful engagement with the whole patient population that is as inclusive and effective a possible. 
To have the ability to raise funds as necessary.

Patient Feedback 

We believe that patient feedback is an invaluable resource, which helps us meet the standard we set in our vision statement - so please do share your views with us. We endeavour to address any comments at the point of contact but should you wish to provide feedback at any other time please do contact the surgery. We also identify what patients think through other feedback tools, such as the Friends and Family Test on our website and the National Patient Survey. The information we gather is key to helping people us make improvements where necessary. 
Positive feedback provides a morale boost for hard-working NHS staff and rewards good practice. Should you wish to compliment the surgery or any particular member of staff you can do so in person, in writing, via the practice e-mail address (bushloesurgery@nhs.net) or by completing a family & friends comment card in reception. 
We recognise that there may be times when you might not be happy with the treatment you have received. We will aim to address any concerns you have when you raise them but should you remain unhappy with the practice’s response and wish to submit a complaint you can do so by writing to Mr Robert Whitehead, Practice Business Manager.
